  • Correctly identify developmental milestones, the developmental progression and how it relates to torticollis and plagiocephaly (T.A.P.)

  • Understand the risk factors of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in relation to T.A.P.

  • Understand the Back to Sleep program and the recommendations by the AAP

  • Correctly identify anatomical structures involved in T.A.P.

  • Accurately and objectively evaluate T.A.P. and related developmental delay

  • Use treatment techniques to effectively manage T.A.P.

  • Identify when a child needs additional treatment techniques for a successful outcome

  • Instruct parents and caregivers in home exercise programs for T.A.P.

  • Confidently explain and refer parents and caregivers to facilities for additional services if necessary
